These infrared cameras are a high resolution COLOR camera in daylight and can also see in complete total darkness.
At night or in total darkness the Sony CCD chip turns the camera into black and white and the 56 SDI infra red LED's take over and will allow you to see in complete darkness. The LED's are nearly invisible to the naked eye, so that cat burglar or stalker will never know you are recording his every move. Please view sample footage click here.

SSC-100C long range 25mm lens; Has a 13.3 degree field of view. This means that at 100 feet away the camera will view approx. 18 ft. span from left to right. You can recognize a persons face very easily at 100 feet in daylight. In total darkness you will be able to see people walking at 100 feet away as well. You will not be able to recognize a persons face 100 feet away in total darkness.

SSC-150C medium range 12mm lens Has a 28 degree field of view. This means that at 50 feet away the camera will view approx. 16 ft. span from left to right, and at 100 ft. it will view approx. 34 ft. span. In total darkness effective viewing with leds is about 25 ft.

SSC-250C medium range 6mm lens Has a 53 degree field of view. This means that at 50 ft. it will view approx. 40 ft. span. In total darkness effective viewing with leds is about 25 ft.

SSC-350C short range 3.6mm lens Has a 92 degree FOV. At 25 ft. away, viewing span is about 35 ft. and at 65 ft. distance, viewing span is about 75 ft. In total darkness effective viewing with leds is about 25 ft.

SSC-450C short range 2.97mm lens Has a 130 degree FOV. At 25 ft. away, viewing span is about 55 ft. and at 65 ft. distance, viewing span is about 120 ft. In total darkness effective viewing with leds is about 25 ft.

Fully weatherproof, for indoor or outdoor use. 12 volt operation, Plug and Play connector ends. 2 feet of wire connected to camera. Camera size is 2-3/4" long by 2-5/8" diameter.
