If you choose to purchase a complete DVR, instead of a DVR card. Then click here for complete DVRs. |
| This is the main viewing screen that appears when the DVR is started. From this point, you may watch all the cameras, view the date, time and storage capacity indication meter. You may also set the recording schedule, turn the recording on/off, select the video playback, activate the remote webcam, remote viewing, IP Multicast as well as the remote storage center application. You can view & record the video at 320x240 or 640x480, make selections for preview performance or recording performance. |

| From this section, you may select the time and interval of the camera that you wish to put on a recording schedule. This is a very flexible and sophisticated menu. For instance, you can select camera #1 to perform recording on motion detection between the hours of 8AM and 5PM, while at the same time, set camera #2 to perform recording continuously. You can set every camera to perform a different function at different times if needed! Or, just set the system up to record all the cameras at once. With this system, you are put in complete control. Since this a very efficient surveillance system, most owners of this system usually just set the system up to record on motion detection without the aide of the scheduler featured above. It is very simple to install the DVR card! |

| This area allows you to specifically configure each individual camera. All features can be modified by you, the user. Motion detection or "Round the Clock" recording, motion sensitivity adjustment control, camera Brightness, Contrast, Hue & Saturation. You can adjust the recording quality and name the camera based on location & need. You may also set it here to play a .WAV file in the event that motion is detected. If you have an area that you do not wish to trigger the motion detection recording mechanism, you can easily 'Mask-Off" a specific area that is in the field of view. This way, motion that is detected outside of the area that you have "Masked-Off" will trigger the recording, and unwanted video behind the mask will not trigger the recording. |

How do I use the Remote Viewer or Webcam? Is it easy to setup? What is a Static IP and where do I get it? Getting setup is just a few clicks away! All you need is a DSL or Cable Modem service with a STATIC IP address. A static IP address is basically a fixed or "stationary" address or location on the internet that is provided by your internet provider. So for example, if you are at a remote location and you want to check in on your place of business over the internet using a browser, you would type in your IP address in the form of "http://68.15.173.82" - the numbers indicates your place of business on the internet and you would make the connection. A Dynamic IP address is an address given to you by your ISP that changes every hour, day or week - not good when you want to connect to it on a regular basis! Some DSL or Cable Modem providers charge a little extra for a static IP while others give them to you for free, you need to call them and ask them for one. If you have some PC experience and don't mind "doing it yourself", check out Http://www.DynamIP.com and they offer a unique, cost-effective service that will help you keep that static IP stay put for your WebCam!!!
