This
product will detect any camera, either wired or wireless, by picking
up the horizontal oscillator frequency, 15.75 KHz, radiated by video cameras.
Once the video camera is detected, its location can be quickly determined
by vibration and then the five-step LED meter and Sensitivity control.
Tests with various cameras show a detection range of 2 to 15 feet, depending
on the type of camera.
Some products will detect only the presence of wireless cameras by searching for the rf frequencies emitted by the transmitter. But, our SSC-1001 will detect both wired and wireless cameras by detecting the camera itself.
This product is invaluable to people that need to make sure they are not being watched.
The SSC-1001 has a rugged aluminum housing, measures 4.25" x 2.25" x1.25", weighs 10 oz., and is furnished with two 9 volt batteries, plug-in antenna and illustrated instructions.
